SUPERIOR, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - A series of suspected arson cases have caught neighbors off-guard in the north end of Superior.
Firefighters responded to the first suspicious fire on March 20 along John Avenue and a second, just down the street, a week later.
Both were unoccupied homes owned by the city and the Superior Housing Authority.
Early this morning four more fires were discovered in the same area.
Two campers and a car were on fire, as well as the porch of an occupied home a block away.
Neighbors said today the area is normally safe and they believe the fires were randomly set.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Superior Police Department immediately.
