Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - The second pilot, who successfully landed his damaged plane, following the collision, has a spotless pilot license.

However, 26-year-old Blake Wedan's driving record reveals multiple violations.

Records, obtained by KBJR 6 & Range 11, show Wedan has received eight speeding tickets since 2006.

More recently, Wedan had a DUI reduced to careless driving, resulting in a temporary revocation of his driver's license.

A Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson told the Duluth News Tribune Thursday that driving incidents are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Mark Androsky the operator of Skydive Superior told the News Tribune he was unaware of the license revocation.

And as for the speeding tickets, Androsky said "he's a pilot, he likes to go fast."
