Snow showers will stick with us tonight and into tomorrow morning. The National Weather Service has extended the Winter Storm Warning until 10pm for Cook and Lake Counties. An additional 3-6" is possible there.

Areas to the south of Two Harbors, especially by the lake, can expect an additional 1-3" of snow as the east wind continues. Winds will die down to 5-15mph overnight. And temperatures will dip to 21º. Ice will be a concern with this wet snow overnight so travel will be treacherous.

The snow will taper off Saturday morning and we can dig out by the afternoon. Highs will be near 36º. But another storm is coming for Sunday. And this one will bring an icy mess for Northern Wisconsin and the potential for 4-8" more snow for areas north of Solon Springs, WI and west of Sandstone, MN.

If that's not enough there's another system on Thursday that has its eye on the Northland and could bring more snow to the region.

Stay safe out there!
