Scanlon, MN (NNCNOW.com) - An at–times controversial strip club, a family owned restaurant, and a bottle shop in Scanlon will all be part of the change when demolition crews make room for a new convenience store in the coming weeks.
According to the Pantry Restaurant owner Victor Viebahn, he and his wife Colleen closed their business's doors Friday, and will soon have an auction to clear out the restaurant.
Viebahn says they sold the restaurant as plans unfolded to open a Kwik Trip gas station and convenience store near the site.
The strip club Sugar Daddy's will be razed to make room for the gas station's pumps. The store itself will be built on the current site of Gramma Polo's Bottle Shoppe.
After final paperwork wraps up in March, Viebahn says the restaurant will be razed to make room for the bottle shop's new location.
