Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - A business in Superior has received two awards from NASA.

The awards were given to Charter NEX Films for their involvement with NASA's high altitude weather balloon program.

Charter NEX Films made the film which was used to make the balloons.

"We're kind of the front, the first of the food chain so to speak, and a lot of times we don't get the recognition," said the company's President and COO, Chris Trapp, during an awards ceremony, "It's the finished package or the finished medical device or something [that usually gets recognized]. I think it's good. It's really nice to see that [recognition] once in awhile."

Charter NEX Films received the Group Achievement Award and the Silver Achievement Medal.
