Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Thieves are taking advantage of the flooding devastation.
Duluth Police say since Thursday there have been five break-ins at the River Place Campground in Gary New Duluth. People living there were asked to leave last week after the grounds flooded leaving homes susceptible.
Police say they've stepped up patrols and have records of each vacated home in the city.
They ask those who've left their homes to check in from time to time.
Police have no one in custody.
