Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Nearly a thousand Northland girls will be treated like princesses this weekend at the DECC in Duluth as they have tea with some of Disney's royal characters.

The lovely little ladies sat elbow to elbow with the likes of the beautiful Belle, Ariel, Snow White and Tinker Bell during the third annual Enchanted Tea party.

"I love Jasmine, I love Jasmine!"

Each little Northlander seemed to have a different favorite princess.

"Ariel and Sleeping Beauty!"

Mothers watched their star-struck little ones as they shook hands, hugged and snuggled up with the lovely ladies of the enchanted tea room.

"Just watching my daughter get to mingle and see like her 'hero'," said Shayna Adrian, who attended the tea party with her daughter.

After taking tea, the princesses and want-to-be princesses danced the afternoon away at an enchanted dance party.

The event has become so popular in the Northland that it sold out practically the moment tickets went on sale.

"Every single year, every single location, every single tea party has sold out every single spot," said Devin Graff, coordinator of the event.

Parents moved to capture the perfect moments to keep the memories of their little princess with her hero alive.

"It's very expensive to take a trip down to Disney and see those princesses so we try to emulate something similar," said Graff.

For many of the little girls the enchanted tea party will be a day that lives in their minds forever.

The Enchanted Tea Parties will run until March 30th.

Proceeds will go to support the Aad Shrine.
