Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - An ongoing marijuana trafficking investigation in Duluth led authorities to three suspects and marijuana packaged for sale.
Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force made the arrests after executing a search warrant at a home on the 1600 block of East 4th Street early Wednesday morning.
Inside the home Police found marijuana, a digital scale, money, a fully load 12 gauge shotgun and two loaded .40 caliber pistols.
The following were arrested:
•Walter Verneil Guthrie, a 45 year old male resident of Duluth - Arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and 5th Degree Sale of Marijuana (Guthrie is currently on probation for 1st Degree Sale of Crack Cocaine)
•Robert Lee Gurney, a 24 year old male resident of Duluth - Arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and 5th Degree Sale of Marijuana and Child Endangerment (Gurney is currently on probation for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and has previous convictions for 1st Degree Assault and Domestic Assault)
•Roberta Kay Williams, a 43 year old female resident of Duluth - Arrested for 5th Degree Sale of Marijuana, 5th Degree Possession of Marijuana and Child Endangerment
