Trunk or Treat!
The Glenn Avon church in Duluth put a unique twist on trick or treating today. Rather than going house to house, costumed candy–seekers went car to car for their goodies.

Glen Avon members could be found in the church parking lot with tricked out rides and costumes along with other activities including beanie–baby toss and facepainting.

The event originally began as a festive way for the church to connect with the community.

Now in its fourth year, Trunk–or–treat is fast becoming tradition for church goers, including Northland Newscenter's very own Adam Clark and his vintage Buick: The Beast.

Organizers say that anyone looking for a safe place to bring their children during the Halloween season is welcome.

We've had a really good turn–out every year. It's welcome to all the families at church and all the neighborhood, and whoever wants to come and have the kids trick–or–treat in a safe environment.

Glen Avon also provides hotdogs and beverages to attendees—costumed or otherwise—completely free of charge.
