Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The owner of the shuttered Twins Bar in Duluth's Central Hillside says he's ready to file suit against the city.

The city council voted unanimously Monday night to revoke the liquor license, even after the doors to the bar were locked last month after Carl Green was served with an eviction notice.

The establishment had been made aware earlier this year that it could permanently lose its liquor license due to the high number of disturbances at the bar.

Green says he plans to fight back since councilors would not accept a surrendering of the license.

"If you revocate this license I'm going to sue the city, I'm going to sue the police department... I'm not sure who else, but I'll file a lawsuit in federal court," said Green.

City councilors say, although the bar is now closed, the revocation of the liquor license will require all future building inhabitants to reapply for the license.
