Eveleth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Eveleth on Sunday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to reports of a two-car crash and rollover just after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Authorities say 19-year-old Joseph Pogachik drove his truck across Highway 53 from Bodas Road and crossed the northbound lanes in front of another vehicle. They say that Pogachik failed to yield the right of way to the other vehicle.

One of the vehicles rolled over but no one was ejected.

Pogachik and the driver of the other vehicle, 22-year-old Jessica Langan, were both transported to Essentia Health in Virginia with non-life threatening injuries.

Pogachik was given a citation for failure to yield right of way.

The accident remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
