Two Juveniles Arrested in Connection with Burglary

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Two juvenile boys have been arrested in connection with a burglary at a home in West Duluth.

According to authorities, Duluth police received a call of a burglary in progress on Friday, October 26th at 2:15pm along the 300 block of North 80th Avenue West.

One of the neighbors says they saw one of the suspects leaving the house with a flat screen TV hidden under a blanket.

Officers located the suspects within a few minutes walking in the 7800 block of Grand Avenue near a computer sales and service store.

Authorities say that one of the suspects had a stolen stereo in his backpack and a handgun in his shoe and the other suspect allegedly had the stolen TV.

A computer store employee told police that the two suspects had been trying to sell him the items.

Charges are pending against both 15 year old boys. Charges include 1st Degree Burglary for one suspect and 2nd Degree Burglary for the other suspect.

This case is active and remains under investigation.

The Duluth Police Department would like to thank the neighbors looking out for each other, being good witnesses and calling 911.
