Cable, WI (NNCNOW.com) -- Two men remain at large after an attempted armed robbery at the Triple G Gas Station in Cable, Wisconsin.

The Bayfield County 911 center received a report on Monday night that two people entered the gas station, displayed a handgun and demanded the clerk to give him money.

One man is reported to be a white male in his 20's while the other man was around 20 years of age but due to a scarf or wrap of some kind around his face, his race is unknown.

The vehicle description is unknown at this time, as well as the direction it went.

Employees at the business noted a full size black pick-up with dual rear tires parked a short distance from the business shortly before the attempted robbery.

That vehicle was not parked in the same location after the event.

It is not known if there is any connection between the suspects and vehicle.

Both Douglas and Washburn County Sheriff's office have reported similar events in the past few days; it is unknown if these robberies/attempted robberies are connected.
