Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and brutal beating of a 36-year-old man in late April.
Duluth Police executed a search warrant in the 4100 block of West fifth street for a 29-year-old man Friday afternoon on charges of attempted murder and assault and kidnapping.
Police say a fourth suspect, a 27-year-old, was captured in St. Paul on the same charges.
Two other suspects, 40-year-old Chad Siegel and a 39-year-old woman, were taken into custody by Superior Police two weeks ago. They're behind bars in Douglas County Jail.
Saint Louis County has an active warrant on Chad Siegel for 2nd Degree Murder, 1st Degree Assault and Kidnapping on and he is currently awaiting extradition.
Police say the assault happened in the city of Duluth on April 21st, but the suspects took the victim to an address in Superior.
He was then taken to the Essentia Health St. Mary's hospital in Duluth where he remains in critical condition.
The victims and suspects were all known to each other.
