Waukesha, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The two 12-year-old girls accused of attempting to kill a classmate by stabbing her 19 times, were back in court in Waukesha, Wis., today.

Anissa Weier’s attorneys filed a motion in late July asking that the mental competency reports on co–defendant Morgan Geyser be released.

That request was denied. Weier’s attorneys were back in court today asking that that decision be re–considered.

A psychologist testified about Geyser’s mental competency, but the testimony was in closed court.

After the testimony the judge ruled that Geyser is incompetent to proceed with trial at this time, but is likely to become competent.

The court set Geyser’s next hearing for November 12th. Meanwhile, Weier will be back in court on August 17th.
