Two fires in Superior, one deemed suspicious

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) -- Superior Fire Crews battled two structure fires Tuesday, one of them is deemed suspicious.

At 11:33 a.m. Engine Companies and the Battalion Chief were dispatched to a possible structure fire on John Avenue in Superior.

On arrival, crews found a detached garage in the alley engulfed in fire.

The fire was brought under control in an hour.

Officers say no one was injured at the fire and the garage was total loss ($35,000 building).

The fire is investigation.

Meanwhile, crews were called to a different structure fire on Central Avenue in Superior's South End and saw a working fire in the old foundry building.

Crews listed this fire suspicious and is investigating.
