U.S. Marshals Arrest Duluth Prison Camp Escapees

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The two inmates who escaped from federal prison in Duluth, last weekend, were arrested early Friday morning.

The U.S. Marshals Service tracked 67-year-old Gerald Greenfield, and 64-year-old Michael Krzy-zaniak to a hotel in Burnsville, a Twin Cities suburb.

The men were arrested without incident and booked into the Ramsey County Jail.

Krzyzaniak, of Eagen had been serving a 151 month sentence for Aiding and Abetting Wire Fraud and Income Tax Evasion while Greenfield, of Bloomington, had been serving 50 months for Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering.

The men are expected to make an appearance in U-S District court Friday or Monday.
