Virginia attorney placed on 2 years probation for professional misconduct

Virginia, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A Virginia attorney has been placed on 2 years probation for professional misconduct.

Mary Irene Johnson admitted to opening the mail of the opposing part in a case without authorization in order to obtain evidence.

Johnson waived her procedural rights and unconditionally admitted to the allegations of the petition.

The Minnesota Supreme Court ordered that Johnson be publicly reprimanded and placed on 2 years of probation with terms and conditions.
