Virginia, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Virginia Court Administrator's Office has closed down after staff opened a letter containing an unknown substance.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, a suspicious letter was received by the Court Administrator's Office around eleven Friday morning.

The letter allegedly contained an unknown powder substance and was opened by court staff.

The letter and powder have been removed and will be forwarded to the Minnesota State Health Department for testing.

Authorities say no health issues or injuries were reported.
