Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - A partnership between the city of Duluth, the United Way of Great Duluth and All Hands Volunteers has formed the "Volunteer Reception Center of Great Duluth."

The city say the reception center, located in the Secondary Technical School, will help coordinate and manage the pool of volunteers. The need for volunteers continues to grow as residents start recovery efforts.

Volunteers should pre-register through the United Way of Greater Duluth by visiting their website at www.unitedwayduluth.org and click on the “Give Help” button.

Individuals and groups may also register on-site at the Volunteer Reception Center. The VRCGD will serve as a check-in location for registered volunteers.
