Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Douglas County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man they say is armed and dangerous.
Cole Didrikson is wanted for several felonies including drugs, weapons and recklessly endangering safety.
On Wednesday night Superior Police attempted a controlled drug buy bust on Didrickson to arrest him on a warrant for a felon in a possession of a firearm but Didrickson had other plans.
"He fled the officers at that location and actually damaged one of our unmarked police cars trying to flee. And then he fled into Duluth where he ultimately escaped," said Sergeant Rick Hughes with the Superior Police Department.
This isn't Didrikson's first run in with the law. Barbara Reyelts talked with him when he was in custody as a 17 year old in 2004.
"got caught for robbery over in Wisconsin, armed robbery, bailed out of there, got caught in Duluth when they raided my house for conspiracy to manufacture and I bailed out of there and got caught in Carlton county with five pounds of weed and everytime I bailed out, I went back to doing the same old thing," said Didrikson in a 2004 interview.
To take it a step further, In 2004, Didrikson and fellow drug dealers held up this house in Superior at gunpoint. When one man failed to give up his cash, Cole heated up a knife and tortured him.
"I was so high at the time I was going to go to any length to get money," said Didrikson.
Didrikson's whereabouts remain unknown at this time.
"If you see him, you should be a good witness, get a plate number, but do not approach," said Sgt. Hughes.
Didrikson was said to be driving a Blue 2009 Ford F-150 with Wisconsin Plates EH-30-22.
