Madison, Wis. (NNCOW.com) -- The Wisconsin Senate passed a bill restricting the use of drones on Tuesday.
Under the bill, no law enforcement agency may use a drone that has video or audio recording equipment to collect evidence or information without first obtaining a warrant.
Police could use drones in certain emergency situations like manhunts or rescue operations.
The bill also makes it a felony to sell, posses or operate a weaponized drone.
