Our radio partners, B-105 and KOOL 101.7 are simulcasting a radio-thon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

People across the Northland are being urged to donate by calling (888) 290-HOPE (4673).

Money raised will go toward continued intense research at the hospital, which affects patients in other hospitals across the country, like SMDC and St. Luke's in Duluth.

St. Jude has become an international resource for the study and treatment of pediatric illnesses, including cancer, AIDS, sickle cell disease and inherited immune disorders.

It costs St. Jude more than one million dollars daily to operate.

Phone lines are open until seven p.m. Thursday.

They are back open Friday from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.
