Cloquet Residents Take to the Wiffle Ball Diamonds

By KBJR News 1

Around Cloquet residents went to bat for a Memorial Day wiffle ball tournament.

Around 30 teams went to bat at Peterson Park during the 5th-annual event.

It all kicked off Monday morning morning at 8 A.M. with hundreds of fans cheering on their favorite teams throughout the day. Organizers say the event is an easy way to get together with friends, family and neighbors on this important day.

"It means a lot, I've got a lot of 'thank yous' throughout the day," said Tyler Korby, organizer. "It means to people just to come out and have fun and play a game not many people play anymore."
