Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - If you've driven around a few intersections in Duluth this week, you may have noticed fire trucks and firefighters stopped along the roadway.
Do not be alarmed, there was no emergency, but there was a good cause. It's called the "Fill the Boot" campaign and it's raising money for kids with muscular dystrophy.
Rob Morehouse, with the Duluth Fire Department, says the department has received about $24,000 in donations in the first two days.
Firefighters will be out Wednesday, August 7th from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at the following intersections:
Central Entrance and Arlington
Central Avenue and Grand Avenue
Woodland and Arrowhead
