Holiday gift wrapping can be a stressful time, and for many of us, we just don't have time for it.

Party planner and owner of Duluth's Party America, Mariah McKechnie, says holiday gift wrapping can be made simple by just getting creative.

Mariah says many items you already have laying around the house this holiday season can be used as gift wrapping.

She suggests using a paper doily to wrap small gifts. She just lays the doily with the shiny side down, places the item in the middle, gathers at the top and ties with a ribbon.

The same can be done with left over holiday napkins, she says.

She also says empty toilet paper rolls can come in handy when wrapping small gifts! Place the gift inside the roll, and wrap with a holiday napkin or doily to make your own Christmas cracker.

For large gifts, Mariah suggests using plastic table covers. Just gather at the top, tie, and top with a large bow.
