Oktoberfest German Food: Wienerschnitzel, Sauerkraut, and Cabbage

Pork Wienerschnitzel:

Pork
Flour
Panko Crumbs
Egg Wash
Butter
Oil

Take a pork fillet and butterfly using a sharp knife. Pound with a meat mallet. Bread with flour, seasoned panko crumbs, and egg wash. Saute in pan with butter and a little oil for about a minute and a half on each side.

Cabbage:

Diced Bacon
Chopped Onions
Salt
Pepper
Ground Cloves
Brown Sugar
Diced Apples
Red Wine Vinegar
Chopped Red Cabbage

Saute finely chopped bacon in pan with oil. Add chopped onions. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and ground cloves. Add brown sugar and diced apples. Finally pour in red wine vinegar. Add chopped red cabbage and reduce down.
