DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Duluth may soon see new advertisements aimed to help re-build the Northland's image following the floods.
The City Council will vote tomorrow night on whether to allow community leaders to allocate up to $75,000 to the city's tourism arm "Visit Duluth" from the tourism tax fund.
The council will also vote on a proposed settlement of $60,000 following a lawsuit between the city and the travel giant Expedia.com.
The lawsuit alleges the travel giant owes the city back-taxes for hotel and motel reservations booked in the city through the Expedia website.
The council is also scheduled to vote whether to approve a new citizen review board which would look into complaints about police work.
