(NNCNOW.com) --- An average of 13 people die each year in Minnesota work and construction zones.
To help prevent tragedies from happening on the roads, St. Louis County is taking part in National Work Zone Awareness Week.
Motorists are being reminded to use caution as construction season approaches.
This year’s theme is “Roadway Work Zone Safety: We’re All In This Together”.
Victor Lund, a St. Louis County Traffic Engineer joined Jennifer Walch on the KBJR 6 and Range 11 News Today to talk about safety tips to remember when driving in a work zone.
