Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Two-time Olympic gold medalist, Gabby Douglas, says she wouldn't worry about the security concerns surrounding the winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

During an interview with KBJR 6 and Range 11 News Today, Douglas said, "As an athlete, I wouldn't be worried about it. I would just go to Sochi...to the Olympics for one reason. You know, the country brought me out here [the Olympics] so I could represent the U.S. the best that I can. I would just focus on my sport."

Douglas competed on the U.S. women's gymnastics team during the 2012 summer Olympics, winning two gold medals. The team was commonly known as the "Fab Five."

Douglas has been promoting an upcoming Lifetime movie centered around her Olympic journey.

The movie titled, "The Gabby Douglas Story", airs Saturday, February 1 on Lifetime.
