Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A University of Minnesota Duluth graduate's class assignment has turned into his business.

Spencer Johnson created the design for Sota Clothing while in a design class at UMD. With encouragement from his classmates, Johnson turned his design into the Sota Clothing line.

The clothing line is intended for people who want to 'represent their Minnesota heritage.'

By the way, Johnson says he got an 'A' on that class assignment.
