Superior, MN (NNCNOW.com) - For many of us retirement means trading in long hours at work for some much deserved rest and relaxation.

But for an 87-year-old, Pauline Kukull of Superior retirement means more hours to volunteer and she doesn't waste a minute.

Pauline is the president of the auxiliary for Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital in Superior.

She is also the buyer for the hospital’s gift shop.

Proceeds from the shop and countless fundraisers sponsored by the Auxiliary are plowed back into the hospital and fund scholarships for students going into the medical field.

Pauline is just hours away from receiving her service pine for 16 thousand hours of volunteer time at the hospital. She says she plans to volunteer until they take her out feet first.

Pauline Kukull is truly making a difference.

By the way, the Hospital Auxiliary's noon luncheon and Style Show is March 23 at Concordia Lutheran Church tickets are available at the door.
