Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- A Duluth college student is breaking the silence surrounding Mental Illness.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students.

Unfortunately teens and young adults are often reluctant to talk about their feelings.

The stigma surrounding mental illness can be a roadblock to potential lifesaving treatment.

College of St. Scholastica student Dave Romano has made it his mission to change attitudes surrounding mental illness in the hopes of saving lives.

He’s doing that by sparking a nationwide dialog using his own experience with depression to get the conversation started.
