Superior, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Employees of a Superior Trucking Company have won a national weight loss challenge along with re-gaining their health.

Team Halvor Lines is made up of 12 drivers and office workers.

They competed against teams from five other national freight haulers in the Truckload Carriers Association's Weight Loss Showdown.

Not only did they win, but one of their team members was the overall winner.

Halvor Line's truck driver manager Keith Kitch lost 56 pounds or 22.4 percent of his body weight.

"I didn't have any health problems but concerned; 250 pounds, 48 years old, four kids. I wanted to see my grandkids someday," Keith Kitch, Manager of Halver Lines Inc. said.

Team Halvor Line's weight loss success sprung from a unique partnership with Phy Ed Health Club in Superior.
