Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Hundreds of World War Two veterans and their guardians have enjoyed the "Honor Flight Northland" experience since the first plane load of vets traveled from Duluth to Washington D.C. in 2011.

The all-expenses paid visit to their war memorial couldn't have happened without a dedicated army of volunteers.
Heading up that army is Judy Greske a Duluthian and paramedic "making a difference."

Judy first learned about honor flights when she volunteered to serve as a medic on a flight for veterans in the Rochester, Minnesota area. She was so impressed with what she saw she decided to bring the concept north.

Honor Flight Northland #6 will take off in June.

If you know a Veteran from World War Two who should be honored with an all-expenses paid flight to Washington D.C. follow the link to the Honor Flight Northland website.
