(NNCNOW.com) --- Theirs is a cause that's sewn in every stitch. The Tuesday evening Zion Mission Group in Superior has been helping those in need, or experiencing a crises, for seven years.

To many in the Northland, Loretta Hall is known as the "mitten angel."

A title, which locals say, is well deserved.

While in the Tuesday evening Zion Mission group in Superior, Hall has sewn the majority of mittens given away by the group and has hand-delivered more than three-thousand of them to the less fortunate in the Northland.

But the group doesn't only sew mittens they're also making a difference world-wide one basket, diaper, donation, and blanket at a time.
