Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A father-daughter duo from Duluth work as lawyers, but double as community activists.
The family-run Spott Law Office made the decision to offer one free year of legal services to a non-profit organization within the community.
They received 12 nominations. They chose Community Action Duluth.
"As a non-profit with limited resources to use for admin purposes and things like that free legal services was completely invaluable," said Sarah Priest with CAD.
The Spott Law Office and Community Action Duluth are about half way through their partnership. The Spotts say they will continue to reach out to the community even after the agreement is completed.
