Parents across the Northland always try their hardest to help provide for their children.

In this weeks "Your Green Life" Jeff Edmondson shows us a mother who started a green business that many parents are benefiting from.

This New York mom loves nothing more than giggles from her girls. Twins Madison and Victoria always come first. As does their good health...hence the creation of dolphin organics.

Ayo and Nigel hart launched their "only and always natural" baby line this past June. The products, already carries in 31 stores nationwide, are also sold online. It's a home–run business, born out of concern. Nigel's father died of cancer last year. His mother is a breast cancer survivor. During treatment, her oncologist gave her a list of products to avoid. Something Ayo describes as an eye opener.

"They were pretty common products, pretty common ingredients, and a lot of the things we were using as well and more importantly what we were using on the girls, said Ayo Hart.

"The American consumer assumes that everything available in the stores is safe. The reality is somewhat different", said Nigel Hart.

The Hart's believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it. And so they spent two years working to find effective all natural formulas. Now complete with strict organic certifications. The line promises healthy skin and cleaner waste water since the products are chemical free...all in recycled packaging.

"Even if you don't buy dolphin organics that's fine. Just make sure you're making an educated informed decision about your purchases for your kids", said Ayo.

What started as a simple effort by one couple to go green at bath time could certainly expand. Their hope is to make a world of difference. In Duluth, I'm Jeff Edmondson the northlands news center.
