Shopping for clothing and finding the right sizes can sometimes be a tricky job.

In this weeks, "Your Green Life" Meteorologist Jeff Edmondson takes a look at an Earth conscious way to update your wardrobe.

Going to the giant clothing stores around the Northland can be a daunting task.
And when you do, the majority of the clothing available may not be made in the USA or may have been produced with materials that are sprayed in pesticides.
Shopping for clothing made with earth friendly materials can be a win–win for both the consumer and the planet.

"Anything that has polyester in it, is made out of recycled water bottles," says Cindi Johnson with Kika Paprika.

kika Paprika is a clothing company that caters to the environmentally conscious shopper...

"We also have a fabric that's called Tensel and that's out of Eucalyptus wood, that's really safe on the environment as well," says Cindi Johnson.

Better for the environment because it's bio–degradable and more durable than your average cotton shirt. But does going green mean a fashion sacrifice?

"We have a complete collection of tops, bottoms, jackets. Something for every woman as far as body shape and lifestyle as well," said Cindi Johnson.

With every garment that is available you can choose from 11 different colors so you can customize your clothing choices.
A different kind of clothing...and a different way of shopping too.

"A customer who normally has a negative, frustrating time shopping. So they can come to our home, their home, a comfortable relaxed setting," said Heath Andrews.

Whether you want to pick out your clothing privately or with a group of friends you can do it knowing your also reducing your consumption of our natural resources.
In Duluth, I'm Meteorologist Jeff Edmondson, The Northlands Newscenter.

All of the clothing that kika Paprika offers is made is the USA. To learn more about their clothing line visit:
