Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Cliffs Natural Resources announced Monday a $25,000 contribution to the United Way Long Term Flood Recovery Fund.
The fund was established to help families that were affected by the floods.
"Our goal is to raise $1 million to help these families recover from flood damage," Duluth Mayor Don Ness said.
Cliffs employs 63 people in the Duluth Shared Services office and has mine operations in Silver Bay, Babbitt, Eveleth, Forbes and Hibbing.
