Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Northland students are doing their part to raise money for the United Way's Flood Relief Fund.
A group of Duluth college students and recent graduates, calling themselves the Northland Flood Aid are hosting a flood relief concert benefit tonight at Grandmas Sports Garden in Canal Park.
The concert runs until midnight, Sunday.
About 10 local musicians are performing and admission includes an all you can eat pizza buffet.
Coordinators of the Northland Flood Aid group are urging young people to do all they can to help the northland in its disaster recovery.
"A lot of times in the summer college students just go home," Samantha Bisogno said. "All of us really care about Duluth and helping Duluth so I think it's really important for young people like us to do stuff life this more often."
Several local businesses donated items for a silent auction.
