Barnum, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Officials in Barnum say that the city's water source was not compromised due to flooding and is safe to use.
The city is also asking that residents keep their sewer usage to a minimum.
Residents should keep a detailed records of their clean up process and submit a damage estimate to the Carlton County Assessor.
Dumpsters have been ordered and will be placed in the downtown area for clean-up use.
The Barnum City Hall office will be moving to the Fire Hall for the time being.
Churches are providing assistance with volunteers in handing out food and beverages to those affected by the flooding.
