Madison, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - Governor Scott Walker will visit Superior on Tuesday to survey the damage from flooding that occurred this week.

Governor Walker spoke to Superior Mayor Bruce Hagen this morning about the storm damage in his community and the ongoing damage assessments.

“We continue to monitor the storm damage in Superior, and once we have the damage assessments, we will be able to help determine what resources are available to assist. Dealing with flooding is always difficult and my heart goes out to all of those with damage to their homes.” Governor Scott Walker said.

In a statement today, the Governor said the timing of his trip is intended to ensure there is no interference with operations critical to the recovery process following this severe weather event.
