Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- The utility provider in Duluth, Comfort Systems, is offering a low interest home energy loan program to victims affected by the flood.

The program can help anyone who may need to replace furnaces, water heaters, or insulation in walls due to flood damage.

The program offers low monthly payments, energy and costs savings for participants, and a low interest rate of 4.99%.

Comfort Systems says that property owners get a free home energy audit available through Northern Energetics.

Northern Energetics will conduct the home audit and write up the results to determine qualification.

Advanced home energy audits are also available using infra red diagnostic tools.

Property owners must be current or prospective city gas cutstomers.

Applications determining eligibility for the loan are processed through Comfort Systems following the home energy audit.
