Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Hundreds of people have had to flee their homes as torrential rains took over roads, homes and buildings across Northern Minnesota.

So far, the American Red Cross says they are helping over 200 people who have been displaced from their homes and may need shelter for the next few nights.

The Red Cross is providing meals and health services for those affected by these damaging storms.

The Red Cross asks that people in the affected areas to heed official evacuation and emergency recommendations.
