• Southern Minnesota County Sending Duluth Left Over Flood Aid Money

  Houston County, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A Southern Minnesota county is planning to send $1.5 million to Duluth to help in the city's flood recovery efforts.

• Governor Walker Asks for More Flood Damage Assessments in Northern Wisconsin

  Madison, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Governor Walker has requested the U.S. Small Business Administration to assess flood damage in Northern Wisconsin in hopes if securing some federal aid.

• FEMA Opening Office in Duluth on Thursday

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- FEMA officials will be opening an office in Duluth along East Central Entrance as crews continue to survey flood damage across the Northland.

• College Students Organize Concert to Raise Flood Recovery Funds

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Northland students are doing their part to raise money for the United Way's Flood Relief Fund.

  FEMA Assessors Extend Stay: Property Owners Must Report All Damages

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---FEMA assessors making preliminary flood damage assessments are concerned not everyone is reporting their damages, and have decided to extend their stay.

• Lake Superior Zoo Re-Opens on Friday

  Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Two weeks after devastating floods washed out parts of the Lake Superior Zoo, killing over a dozen of their animals, the zoo is ready to open its doors back up to the public.
