Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- For the 16th year in a row a team of Swedish Soccer players are in Duluth for the annual Växjö soccer exchange.

The 15 and 16 year old Swedish soccer players arrived in Duluth on Sunday.

Throughout their stay there will be a three day soccer tournament, which begins on Tuesday.

There will also be a trip to the Mall of America and Valley Fair, all while spending time getting to know and appreciate the people of the Northland and what the area has to offer.

"I've always played soccer. It's exciting to see that it's like a global sport and everybody enjoys playing it," said Swedish exchange student Jonathan Krlsson.

The opening ceremony of the Sister City Soccer Cup will be held next Monday, June 30th, at Stebner Field.
