Two Grand Rapids teens were sentenced for stabbing another man in April.

18 year old Tobias Mark Lanum pleaded guilty last month to one count of Aiding and Abetting Attempted Murder in the second degree.

He was sentenced to spend more than 11 years in prison and pay almost nine thousand dollars in restitution.

19 year old Andrew Gary Dowling pleaded guilty to aiding and Abetting first degree assault.

Dowling was sentenced to spend four years in a St. Cloud's Minnesota Correctional Facility and one year in the Itasca County Jail.

Both were facing the charges for trying to kill 18 year old John Bennett.

Bennett was stabbed eight times in the throat, abdomen, chest, and leg, in Seven Cities, a small town north of Coleraine.
