Alleged car prowler nabbed by Duluth Police

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Duluth man has been arrested in connection with multiple car prowls including theft of a moped.

27-year-old Timothy Lane Sandstrom was arrested on Saturday for allegedly stealing a moped from the bed of a truck on the 10 block of West Michigan Street over the weekend.

Police tracked Sandstrom down after tips of several car prowls in the Depot parking lot.

Sandstrom is being held in the St. Louis County jail facing four counts of motor vehicle tampering, stolen property, 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, and motor vehicle theft.
