Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal hit and run in Hinckley last week.
Officers say a tip from the public led to the arrest in connection with the crash that took the life of Trevor Langlois of Wyoming, MN.
A 31 year old Wyoming, MN man was taken into custody by Minnesota State Patrol Troopers without incident at his parents’ residence in Wyoming Wednesday morning.
The State Patrol was assisted in the arrest by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect is currently being held at the Pine County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide and hit-and-run.
On June 17th, Langlois, a 24-year-old Army veteran, developed truck problems and was pulled over on a freeway entrance ramp to I-35 in Hinckley when a vehicle hit him and fled.
After the State Patrol put out a request to the public to help in their search for the suspect vehicle, authorities received a call that matched the car's description. Officers recovered the vehicle and impounded it as evidence.
